——2015 China International Paper Technology Exhibition and Conference Was Held in Beijing

2015 China International Paper Technology Exhibition and Conference (CIPTE), jointly organized by China Paper Association, China Technical Association of Paper Industry and China National Pulp and Paper Research Institute, and managed by China Pulp and Paper Magazines Publisher was held in National Agriculture Exhibition Center, Beijing, China on September 16-18^th, 2015. After years of development and accumulation, CIPTE has become a communication platform of advanced technology and products trusted by the participants and enterprises of paper and related industries. Based on the activity aim of organizing the largest, professional international paper exhibition in Asia, there were more than 200 exhibitors from nearly 20 countries and areas participating in the exhibition. The exhibition area occupied 13000 ㎡.

Opening Ceremony

The opening ceremony of 2015 CIPTE was held on September 16^th. Industry leaders attending the exhibition opening ceremony included Mr. Qian Guijing, vice chairman of China Light Industry Council; Mr. Chen Esheng, chairman of China Sinolight Corporation; Dr. Cao Zhenlei, executive vice president of China Technical Association of Paper Industry; Mr. Zhao Wei, vice president and secretary general of China Paper Association; Mr. Cao Chunyu, president of China National Pulp and Paper Research Institute; Mrs. Pirkko Molkentin-Matilainen, president and CEO of Paper Engineers' Association, Finland; Mr. Li Hongxin, honorary chairman of China Paper Industry Chamber of Commerce. And some leaders from local associations and famous paper enterprises and exhibitor representatives attended the exhibition opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was chaired by Ms. Lu Baorong, vice president of China National Pulp and Paper Research Institute.

On the opening ceremony, Mr. Cao Chunyu, president of China National Pulp and Paper Research Institute, delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the organizers. He said, “China Manufacturing 2025, a top-level plan guiding China to transform from a large manufacturing country to a strong one, provides huge innovation opportunities for Chinese manufactures. Enterprises as the main body of innovation should carry out independent innovation according to national strategies, and then achieve long-term development. In 2015 CIPTE, intelligent manufacturing exhibition area was set to display advanced innovation achievements of paper machinery manufacturing. The intelligent manufacturing exhibition area with advanced manufacturing as the theme will be one of highlights of the exhibition. Meanwhile, senior experts of paper industry will introduce the latest development achievements such as papermaking 4.0 in CIPTE Conference 2015. Hope all domestic and foreign enterprises could make full use of this technical communication and cooperation platform, and get great success.”

Then, Mr. Qian Guijing, vice chairman of China Light Industry Council; Mr. Chen Esheng, chairman of China Sinolight Corporation; Dr. Cao Zhenlei, executive vice president of China Technical Association of Paper Industry; Mr. Zhao Wei, vice president and secretary general of China Paper Association; Mrs. Pirkko Molkentin-Matilainen, president and CEO of Paper Engineers' Association, Finland; Mr. Li Hongxin, honorary chairman of China Paper Industry Chamber of Commerce; and Mr. Cao Chunyu, president of China National Pulp and Paper Research Institute cut the ribbon jointly and officially opened the exhibition. After the opening ceremony, leaders and guests visited the exhibition site together and communicated kindly with the exhibitors. Leaders and guests gave a good appraised to the new intelligent manufacturing exhibition area in 2015 CIPTE.

A wealth of exhibits and new technologies attracted professional visitors from all over the world.

In recent years, Germany Industrial 4.0 swept across the world, set off the fourth industrial revolution leading by “intelligent manufacturing” and “industrial integration”. China Manufacturing 2025 established "intelligent manufacturing" as the main direction of the Five Major Engineering. China's economy stepped into the New Normal, improving manufacturing innovation and developing intelligent manufacturing had become the main theme of transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry. In 2015 CIPTE, many leading enterprises displayed their intelligent manufacturing products technologies, and solutions in the intelligent manufacturing exhibition area.

The international paper technical conference of "CIPTE Conference 2015", jointly organized by China Technical Association of Paper Industry, Paper Engineers' Association from Finland and China National Pulp and Paper Research Institute, and managed by China Pulp and Paper Magazines Publisher was held at the Great Wall Sheraton Hotel, Beijing, China during 2015 CIPTE, which also raised the industry's extensive and close attention. On the opening ceremony of "CIPTE Conference 2015", Mrs. Pirkko Molkentin-Matilainen, president and CEO of Paper Engineers' Association, Finland, delivered a speech on behalf of the organizers. This remarkable industry event invited many experts of papermaking from China, Finland and other countries to deliver speech on hot issues of papermaking industry. The speeches focus on review of the progress of China's pulp and paper technology, general situation and prospect of domestic and abroad packaging paper and paperboard market, supply and demand of market pulp and waste paper, new technology for paper machine upgrades and grade changes, “Papermaking 4.0”,etc. More than 200 representatives of paper and related industries from home and abroad attended the Conference. "CIPTE Conference 2015" successful created an international conference that leading industry development trends and publishing the latest technology orientation.

Seminars

Several high level seminars were held by organizers during the 2015 CIPTE. BTG Instruments AB introduced ACT – automatic cobb tester; Shanghai Forest & Paper Scientific Instrument Co., Ltd. shared the knowledge of optimization of the wet end process and the product quality by an optimal process control (CAS, FPA, EST); Changsha Chaint Machinery Co., Ltd. introduced machines/ robots replace human being to create new value for papermaking industry, etc. In each seminar, the audience responded positively and communicated actively with the speakers.

China International Paper Technology Exhibition and Conference has been held for several years, each CIPTE not only displayed up-to-date technologies and products, but also was a large gathering of elitists of paper industry, it has become the important platform for many enterprises to promote products, develop new markets, maintain customer relationships, understand the development trend of the industry. During the 2015 China International Paper Technology Exhibition and Conference, many exhibitors have enthusiastically booked the booths of 2016 China International Paper Technology Exhibition and Conference that will be held in Shanghai on October 11-13^th, 2016.
