China Paper Association

China Paper Association (CPA) was founded in 1992. It was registered at the State Ministry of Civil Affairs; the association is a social organization and is regulated by the relative departments of the State Council.

Since the founding of CPA, it has made a great promotion in the development of paper industry in China. As a matter of fact, CPA is the bridge and the link between the governments and enterprises; it is also the assistant of government as well. In the future, CPA will play a very important role in strengthening the whole industry management and helping though make the solution for the requests of enterprises. Safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of members, promote the progress of the papermaking industry and sustainable development.

China Technical Association of Paper Industry

China Technical Association of Paper Industry (CTAPI) was founded in June 1964. CTAPI is the organization of the scientists and engineers of the paper industry. It is under the joint supervision of China Association for Science and Technology and China National Light Industry Council.

Over 9,500 professionals and 200 enterprises from all parts of the country hold the membership in CTAPI. There are 5 committees within CTAPI each exercising its function on behalf of CTAPL. There are also 15 subordinate professional divisions under CTAPI.

The mission of CTAPI is to promote academic exchanges and cooperation in China and between China and foreign countries; organize various academic activity and technical popularization activity; organize academic conference every two years and various technical training courses every year; organize scientific and technical popularization of papermaking and continuous education; carry out relevant technology consulting services, including project appraisal and evaluation, etc.

CTAPI publishes and jointly publishes several journals: Almanac of China Paper Industry, Transactions of China Pulp and Paper, China Pulp & Paper, China Paper Newsletters, Paper and Paper Making. The Almanac of China Paper Industry is the only authoritative handbook featuring the most comprehensive collection of information about China’s Paper Industry, and it is a helpful and useful handbook for all who want to understand and work for China’s paper industry.

China National Pulp & Paper Research Institute Co., Ltd.

China National Pulp and Paper Research Institute Co., Ltd.
